Selected automation and analytics case studies

Anonymised examples connecting business discovery, workflow design, operational delivery and evidence-led improvement.

01 Specialist agents for financial operations

Investigation, routing and approval preparation | Built and used

Built ATHOS to investigate billing issues, PORTHOS to route work to the right owner, and ARAMIS to prepare approval requests. Defined source checks, decision boundaries, exception paths and handoff requirements. Reused available context and invoked additional agents only when needed. Kept formal approval with authorised reviewers rather than treating an agent recommendation as permission to act.

02 Operational dashboards and reviewable artifacts

AR backlog and approval reporting | Delivered

Built dashboards showing ageing work, ownership and approval queues, with refreshed data, assignee filters and drill-down views. Refined reporting through stakeholder feedback and documented freshness and read-only boundaries. Produced process maps, workflow specifications and technical handovers so reviewers could follow the evidence behind an exception and identify the next action.

03 Monthly billing reconciliation

Multi-currency reconciliation workflow | Designed

Designed a recurring reconciliation workflow linking billing records and payment statements. Separated intake and source checks, deterministic calculations, exception classification and finance review. Addressed foreign-exchange differences, charge classification and missed-fee risks. Structured the output as a reviewable calculation and exception package with clear approval boundaries.

04 Cost and reliability evaluation

Self-service AI audit framework | Designed

Defined an evaluation framework for cycle time, cost per successful outcome, first-pass success and unplanned human intervention. Specified matched test cases, source-linked findings, failure and retry tracking, and regression checks. Kept charged costs separate from estimates and human review effort separate from model runtime; distinguished intended approval steps from unexpected manual recovery.

Delivery approach

Understand the business problem and current process; map authoritative sources and ownership; draft the workflow and acceptance criteria; build a focused solution; test normal and exception paths; document the result and improve it using operational feedback.
