PRODUCT DESIGN / OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Operations intelligence for financial workflows.

A seven-view dashboard design connecting accounts receivable performance, workload, service levels and financial exposure. Explore how event histories, shared metric definitions and AI-assisted evaluation support operational decisions.

CLIENT PROJECT / INTERACTIVE DESIGN WALKTHROUGH

Executive command centre

Demand, throughput, backlog and SLA risk in one accountable operating view.

This dashboard is based on an operations intelligence project for a client I worked with. Figures shown are illustrative, not client records or measured individual performance.

MEASUREMENT DESIGN

Event history, not snapshots

Reconstruct status changes, reopens, ownership transitions and business-time SLA clocks. Separate active handling, elapsed time and external waiting.

WORKLOAD FAIRNESS

Normalize before comparing

Adjust interpretation for case complexity, available capacity, assignment mix and sample size. No simplistic productivity league tables.

FINANCIAL CONTROLS

Exposure is not recovery

Deduplicate invoice references. Separate potential exposure, confirmed recovered amounts and independently verified prevented loss.

AI EVALUATION

Measure outcomes responsibly

Compare manual, assisted, human-approved and straight-through workflows while accounting for selection bias and distinguishing agent runtime from human time saved.

ENGINEERING SCOPE

Designed for auditability from KPI to event.

Seven linked modules, a shared filter model, metric definitions, status and SLA mapping, role-aware drill-through, data-quality indicators, documented adapter contracts and automated calculation tests. Implementation planning connects these requirements to source-system discovery, integration and acceptance testing.
